Be A Game Changer in Your Life

Be a game changer in your life by Stephanie Blondet | motivation, inspiration, self-improvement, quote, creative entrepreneur

Since I've been trying to improve my life little by little, I try to think about what things I can do better and be a game changer in my life. I'm always in competition with myself because I want to become the best person I can be. But in order to accomplish this, I can't do the same things over and over.

I'm all about planning ahead and making lists so I want to share with you what has worked for me to change my game in life. ;)

1 | BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT

Is it your personal life that you want to change or your professional life? Is it both? Once you've figured out what part in life you want to change, you'll be able to plan ahead. For example, I've been blogging on-and-off since 2012. In July, I decided to finally launch this new blog to share city guides and inspirations with my readers. Before launching this brand new blog, I planned my editorial calendar, my vision, and the content. Since blogging is something I've done in the past, when I sat down to plan, I had to be more thoughtful about the things I did and the things I needed to change to be different.

2 | LEARN FROM OTHERS

It's always good to have a community or mentors that can guide you towards changing your game in life. They know you and they know the things you've done so they can help you with new ideas. Also, if you don't have a community, you can always search the web to learn more about what others are doing to change their game in life. I always like reading about what others are doing. It usually helps me see things that I haven't seen before.

3 | TAKE TIME TO ASSESS YOUR LIFE

Sometimes it's hard to take a break from our hectic schedules to assess our lives. But this is something I strongly suggest you do. Some people say that you should take a few minutes every day, but I try to do it monthly. That's why I created the monthly reflection column so I can have more than 5 minutes to myself and think about the things I've done during that month and see where I can improve.

4 | DON'T DO WHAT OTHERS ARE DOING

Most importantly, don't do what others are doing. The idea of being a game changer is to be different. You can learn from others, but don't copy them. You are unique and special. You have great things to put on the table. You just have to think outside the box and be a game changer.

What things do you do to be a game changer? Do you have something to add to the list? Tell me below!
