At the end of each month, I like to reflect on the month I had. I've found that every time I do this, I improve things in my life. Now that I have a blog, I think this is the best way to keep myself accountable, reflect on the things I've done, and think about what needs to be improved. This past month was a crazy one. Aren't all of them? After a year of thinking whether to start a new blog or not, I stopped procrastinating and created this brand new blog in less than a month. I worked hard to create a lot of content and update my social media accounts. It was a crazy deadline to have since I have a full-time job. I only get a couple of hours in the morning and in the evening. I'm sure I worked 14-16 hours a day between my full-time job and the creation of this blog, but I enjoyed every second of it. I'm happy that I finally decided to do it since I've been blogging on-and-off for the last five years and I miss it. This time is a new website with a different focus that you will see as I create more content.
During July, I:
>> Mentioned that I'm changing my thoughts to improve my life and this is something I've been applying since the beginning of the month.
>> Visited the National Mall in DC with my boyfriend during a hot summer day, but I was happy that I was able to see all the monuments and memorials.
>> Created my first free art print inspired by my recent visit to Downtown, DC. You can download it here.
>> Visited the Navy Yard in Southeast, DC
>> I also shared why you need a handmade notebook. I love journals so I had to share the importance of having a notebook near you all the time. ;)
Even though July was a busy month, I was able to enjoy time with my friends and boyfriend. I'm trying to live an intentional life and make the most out of it. I'm finding that keeping myself busy with things I'm passionate about, puts me in a great mood.
How was your month? Do you like to reflect on the things you've done?
